Monday morning the crane drove up. The operator set the outriggers, and began floating trusses up over the tree, and onto the plates. A tremendous amount of trust culminates when the roof goes on.
When you design a house it can look great on paper, but until the trusses go on and we get to see how everything scales, it is hard to know how good the design really is. It was fun stuff to watch Jason and Lari as they see the dream happen in front of them. There was a lot of anticipation and trust happening that morning.
From the client’s trust in our design, to the trust the carpenters had in the crane operator…everyone was charged up that morning.
