Bought this glorious beast accidentally. Red, burly, American. I was messing around on ebay trying to find the reserve. Nobody outbid me. It was in Iowa. I am in Colorado. $6,000 later, it was in Colorado. Showed up on a snowy day. Killer truck. Had more fun in the first 10 minutes driving this thing around the neighborhood than in any other truck I have ever been in. Been messing with it ever since.
This weekend it gets a carb upgrade to a two barrel, which should be awesome. Over the last month, I have stripped the wheels and painted, installed new tires, balanced the wheels. Seats have been installed, getting ready to spray liner in the cab and bed. Getting ready for springtime in the mountains!
